Get Going on the Holiday Season at the Ashaway Holiday Stroll!
Looking for a great way to kick off the Holiday Season? Join the Chariho community at the 19th annual Ashaway Holiday Stroll on Saturday, December 9th. Festive activities scattered around the village of Ashaway start at 8 AM for breakfast with Santa at the Ashaway Volunteer Fire Station, ending at 7 PM with fireworks at Crandall field sponsored by the Ashaway Volunteer Fire Department!
Visit places around Ashaway, such as Ashaway Elementary School, Babcock Presbyterian Church, Trinity Lutheran Church for various bake sales, games, basket raffles, and crafts. Stop by Crandall Field at 10 AM for horse-drawn wagon rides ($3 per person.) In Crandall House’s front yard, Troop 21 Ashaway will be providing hot chocolate and smores! And from 9 AM to 3 PM, the Ashaway Free Library will be having a book sale and basket raffle. Stop by Ashaway Elementary School from 9 AM to 3 PM to attend their 35th annual Holiday Bazaar or Pelloni Farm for complimentary cookies from 9 AM to 4 PM!
