Climate Change and What YOU Can Do to Help

Climate change refers to changes in Earth's temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind, clouds, and precipitation patterns over time. These changes have lasting negative effects on the environment and in turn society, politics, and economics. The number of greenhouse gases, which trap heat in Earth's atmosphere, have increased significantly, causing worldwide temperatures to rise. Mankind has made this process worse by burning fossil fuels which release carbon emissions and by contributing to deforestation. Human-made causes of climate change are referred to as anthropogenic and 97% of actively publishing climate scientists agree that these causes contribute to rising global temperatures. The disastrous effects of climate change suggest that in order to prevent it, precautionary measures need to be taken immediately by all of mankind. The youth around the world are taking action. People like Greta Thunberg, 16 year old Swedish climate activist, are protesting on the streets. They are signaling to the older generations and the government that more needs to be done to stop the effects of climate change.

Do you find yourself wondering how to help? There are many ways you can contribute to the fight against climate change. I have compiled some of my favorite Petre Holländer also known as @homovirido posts from Instagram and I will share them with you here as well as explain them. I recommend following her for some more sustainable living tips. To begin, you need to take in mind that…

However, after a certain point you may need to buy some new things. If you are trying to live more sustainably to help the environment consider implementing the following into your life…

If you are still unsure as to why you should be taking so many steps to prevent further climate change then take a look at this:

One final tip I have before letting you go on your fight against anthropogenic climate change is how about how to help the animals we have put in grave danger…

Now you have all the information you need to be successful in helping the environment. The Earth, our home, and those being affected by climate change right now thank you. You got this!
