Chariho School District invites the community to Artessy 2025

Wood River Junction, RI – The Chariho School District is excited to present Artessy 2025, a dynamic district-wide celebration of fine arts and industry-related programs. This highly anticipated annual event will take place April 4-5, 2025, at Chariho Regional Middle School, located at 455B Switch Road, Wood River Junction. Artessy showcases the incredible talents of Chariho students, featuring visual and performing arts, industry-driven programs, and interactive exhibits that highlight the intersection of education, creativity, and career pathways.
We are excited to announce that Kayla Burdzel, a sixth grader at Chariho Regional Middle School, is the Artessy 2025 Logo Contest winner. Her winning design will be featured throughout the event, symbolizing the creativity and artistic spirit within the Chariho community.
Chariho Regional School District’s Superintendent, Gina Picard, regards this year’s Artessy as “a testament to our students' talent, passion, and creativity across the Chariho Regional School District. This event showcases the arts and highlights the deep connections between education, industry, and innovation. We are incredibly proud of our students and educators who bring this celebration to life, and we invite the entire community to join us in recognizing their hard work and dedication.”
Artessy 2025 will feature a variety of showcases highlighting student talent and creativity. The Visual Arts Exhibit will take place on Saturday, April 5, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Chariho Middle School gymnasium, displaying an impressive collection of student artwork across various mediums. The Performing Arts Concerts will include the Chariho High School Chorus on Friday, April 4, at 7:00 PM in the auditorium, as well as band and chorus performances by students in grades 3-8 on Saturday, April 5, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
CHARIHOtech Showcases will highlight career pathways and hands-on demonstrations that connect arts and industry. Young visitors can also engage in STEMfest, an exciting science, technology, engineering, and math lineup, or stop by the new SCALES Pop-Up Shop, a student-run mobile store offering student-grown and student-made products.
Artessy 2025 is an incredible opportunity for families, educators, and community members to witness the talent and creativity of Chariho’s students firsthand.
