A New Book Club
As last year came to a close, Ms. Hall had gained a reputation for always having the best tea. Students began to gather in her room before and after school to grab a cup and discuss some literary topics (she being an English teacher). So, through the love of books and tea alike, the Chariho Classics Club was formed.
Students can now periodically meet in C-8, Mondays after school, and discuss books assigned by the group. We’ve so far enjoyed Agatha Christie's chilling mystery, And Then There Were None, a foreign science fiction by Stanislaw Lem titled Solaris and are currently diving into Mary Shelley's horror classic Frankenstein.
Feel free to see Ms. Hall or Dalton Stone (daltdston@charihochargers.org) about our next meeting date, grab a mug and join fellow readers for great book discussions.
